The Most Beautiful Colours on compact disc, the edition the band's own store sells under this barcode. The disc holds thirteen tracks: the ten-song album, then three songs cut in Ireland, "Cornerstone," "Thin Air" and a second take on "Miracle," which the duo's notes say are exclusive to the physical and downloadable editions.

The album follows Unsung Hero, the 2024 film about the Smallbone family, and a break from recording and touring. Paul Mabury plays drums and Danny Lopez keyboards, Davide Rossi arranged the strings, Rob Kinelski mixed the record and Dave Kutch mastered it. Jude and Phoenix Smallbone sing background vocals on "Loved." CCM Magazine called it one of the duo's "most mature records."

"World On Fire," with Taylor Hill, peaked at No. 9 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart and No. 19 on Adult Pop Airplay, topped the Cross Rhythms Christian airplay chart in the UK, and was the most-added song at US Christian radio in 2025. "Miracle" came out on June 5, 2026, the day pre-orders opened, and went to No. 1 on the Australian TCM Christian Airplay chart; "Alle" followed on August 14. "Ever & Ever Before," heard above, reached No. 10 on that same Australian chart.
