Indie Exclusive Green Splatter Vinyl

The independent retail edition of Apples For Isaac, pressed on green splatter vinyl at 140 gram. It carries the same eleven songs as the standard black LP, and the colorway is sold only through independent and specialist shops.

Apples For Isaac is the band's thirteenth studio album and their first of newly written songs since Meteorites in 2014. Ian McCulloch produced it. The mix is by McCulloch with Alan Moulder and Andrea Wright; Mike Cave mixed "Brussels Is Haunted." The line-up is McCulloch, Will Sergeant, Ste Brannan, Simon Finley, Mike Smith and Peter Riley.

Clem Burke, Blondie's drummer and a longtime friend of McCulloch's, plays on ten of the eleven tracks. He died on April 6, 2025, aged 70. The band's statement reads: "The mighty, legendary Clem Burke - longtime friend of Mac - was integral to the making of the album, and heartbreakingly passed away during its completion... love you Clem X"

Three singles preceded the album. "Brussels Is Haunted" arrived in July 2026, premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music with a video by the Belgian filmmaker Jef De Smet; "The Light That Surrounds You" followed in August, and "Take Me By The Hand" in September. BMG's own note on the record describes it as "as bold as it is vulnerable."
