Limited Black, Green & White Crusher Vinyl in Gatefold with 12-Page Booklet

This 2026 reissue of Enthrone Darkness Triumphant is limited to 500 copies of crusher vinyl mixed from black, green and white, housed in a gatefold sleeve that holds a 12-page booklet. It is issued through Metalville and Nuclear Blast under catalog number MV0458-V, with the lacquer cut by Daniel Krieger. The single LP keeps the original ten-song running order, five songs a side. The bonus track added to Nuclear Blast's 2002 deluxe edition is not part of this pressing.

Nuclear Blast first released the album on May 30, 1997. Dimmu Borgir recorded it in January 1997 at The Abyss in Pärlby, Sweden, producing it themselves, with Peter Tägtgren engineering and mixing. It was the Norwegian band's first full-length album with lyrics in English and the first with Shagrath as lead vocalist.

The lineup was Shagrath on vocals and lead guitar, Silenoz on rhythm guitar, Nagash on bass, Stian Aarstad on synthesizer and piano, and Tjodalv on drums. The album reached No. 75 on the German album chart and No. 26 in Finland, and the band made videos for "The Mourning Palace" and "Spellbound (By the Devil)" that year. AllMusic called it "the group's unquestioned masterpiece," and Metal Hammer ranked it seventh among the best symphonic metal albums of all time in 2021.
