CD Album in Fold-Out Card Packaging

This is the compact disc edition of Breath, issued by Black Swan Sounds on April 26, 2019 under catalog number BSS 0011. The disc comes in a fold-out card package: the front carries Javiera Estrada's artwork, the inner panels list every track alongside its guest performers, and the back reprints the album's liner text above the tracklist. The rear credit states that the master recording is licensed exclusively to Black Swan Sounds of Boulder, Colorado.

Desert Dwellers is the production partnership of Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, founded in 1999 out of the Moontribe gatherings. The duo's own notes call Breath the fourth elemental entry in their Downtemple Dub collection, setting slow house grooves and tribal rhythms against global folk melodies.

More than 20 musicians and vocalists appear across the ten tracks. Meagan Chandler sings in Gaelic, Spanish, Arabic and Welsh on different pieces, and Ricardin contributes Persian vocals to "Traversing The Endless Road." Madi Sato sings in Japanese on "Longing For Home," set over shakuhachi and Koji Nakamura's taiko drums. Paul Livingstone plays sitar on "Closed Eyes In A Dust Storm," Pandit Birju Maharaj is credited with vocals on "One That Shows The Way," and Simon Posford adds chanting to "Realms Of Splendor." The closing "Breathing The Mysteries" pairs Lynda Arnold's swarmandal with spoken word from Darpan.

Friend and Moontribe produced every track. The album was mixed by Justin Gariano at TreeHaus Recording and mastered at GZ Mastering, with graphic design by Gonzalo Rescalvo. It went on to seed a run of remix collections; Breath: Portal to Stillness, from 2022, is described by the duo as the fourth of them.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
