1988 US reissue, Greensleeves Records GREL 72, manufactured by Shanachie
This 1988 US reissue of Judge Not carries the Greensleeves catalog number GREL 72, also printed as CGR/GREL 72, and was manufactured and distributed by Shanachie Records Corp. Dennis Brown sings side A and Gregory Isaacs side B, with Augustus "Gussie" Clarke producing.
The object
The etched runout reads 49030 sml GREL-72 A2 on side A and GREL 72 B2 49030-B2 sml #1 PAG on side B, where PAG matches the plating credit for this Shanachie-made edition. The tracklist heads the two sides Dennis' Side and Gregory's Side.
The labels of this GREL 72 carry a 1988 Shanachie date and spell the producer's name Agustus, while the Canadian-made jacket keeps a 1984 date.
Context
Greensleeves first issued Judge Not as GREL 72 in the UK in 1984, and this US edition followed four years later.
