A one-step pressing on 180-gram vinyl, catalog number EVLP113BL, issued by Evolution for the Chesky Original Masters series and timed to Chesky Records' fortieth anniversary. The LP carries eight of the original album's eleven performances, cut four to a side.

David Hazeltine recorded The Jobim Songbook In New York on November 15, 2006 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Manhattan, with Nat Reeves on bass and Joe Farnsworth on drums. David Chesky produced, Nicholas Prout engineered and mastered, and Ted Panken wrote the liner notes. Chesky released it in 2007, and it was Hazeltine's second record for the label's New York Sessions series.

The program is Antonio Carlos Jobim read as a New York piano-trio date rather than as bossa nova. The reissue notes describe the trio taking "Meditation" at a boppish clip, shaping "Once I Loved" around a groove they compare to Ahmad Jamal, and turning "The Girl from Ipanema" from a seaside stroll into a swing tune.
