This is the original 1983 US pressing of Rock 'N Soul Part 1, issued by RCA under catalogue number CPL1-4858 and pressed at RCA Records' Indianapolis plant. The album came out on October 18, 1983, and this issue carries that year, that label and that catalogue number.
One stereo LP. The center labels mark the two sides "Side One" and "Side A" rather than one and two. The back cover lists the singles and closes with "Plus Two New Songs (Recorded September 1983)" without naming them, and carries no "RE" mark in the bottom left corner, which is how this original jacket is told apart from the later one marked "RE".
Mastering is credited to Bob Ludwig at Masterdisk in New York. The two new songs, "Say It Isn't So" and "Adult Education", were recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York and co-produced by Bob Clearmountain.
Rock 'N Soul Part 1 is the duo's 1983 greatest hits collection for RCA, with "She's Gone" licensed from their Atlantic years.
Evergreen Vinyl ships records with care and attention to detail, using established carriers and packaging practices designed to protect physical media in transit.

Pre-orders generally ship on or around the official release date of the title. When available, estimated ship timing is noted on the product page.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
