Black & Blue Corona Vinyl, 35th Anniversary Edition

Peaceville marks 35 years of Soulside Journey with this limited single LP on black and blue corona vinyl, catalog number VILELP1430. The audio is a new remaster by Patrick Engel at Temple of Disharmony, and the label says the layout follows the 1991 original.

Soulside Journey was Darkthrone's debut album, released by Peaceville on January 14, 1991, after the band's Cromlech demo. It was recorded in September 1990 at Sunlight Studio in Stockholm with producer Tomas Skogsberg, known for his work with Entombed, and Uffe Cederlund co-produced the guitars. It is the band's only death metal album; Darkthrone turned to black metal on the records that followed, starting with A Blaze In The Northern Sky in 1992.

The lineup was Nocturno Culto on vocals and lead guitar, Zephyrous on rhythm guitar, Dag Nilsen on bass and Fenriz on drums. Fenriz wrote the lyrics and the band wrote the music. Fenriz went by the mock-Western nickname "Hank Amarillo" at the time, and Duncan Fegredo painted the cover. The video above is Peaceville's upload of "Cromlech," which opens the album and shares its name with the demo.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.
