International Anthem brought Lados B back into print in fall 2026 on this limited Expired Film Orange color, a 140-gram LP that the label's own store lists by this barcode. The store also carries it on classic black and on a Cigar Smoke color. The center labels read IARC 0071, 33 RPM, with five pieces on side A and four on side B.

The music comes from two afternoons, October 15 and 16, 2020, when drummer Daniel Villarreal recorded with guitarist Jeff Parker and bassist Anna Butterss in the backyard of Chicali Outpost in Los Angeles. International Anthem notes that it was the first in-person ensemble session for all three since the pandemic began, and that a few moments from those days went onto Villarreal's 2022 album Panamá 77. Most of the music stayed unreleased until this album came out on October 6, 2023.

The label describes Villarreal leading the trio through rhythmic setups for improvisation, drawing as much on Fania Records' Latin funk as on Brain Records. Neal Francis adds Rhodes piano to "Salute." Ben Lumsdaine recorded the sessions, Dave Vettraino added recording and mixed with Villarreal, and David Allen mastered. Villarreal, Vettraino and Scott McNiece produced. "Sunset Cliffs" is the video above.
