This single LP of A Beautiful World To Lose is pressed on white and black marble vinyl for independent record stores. It sits beside a standard red LP and a CD among the album's physical formats, and carries the same ten songs in a running time of 32 minutes and 24 seconds.

Corella are a four-piece from Manchester: Joel Smith on vocals and guitar, Ben Henderson on bass, Jack Taylor on guitar and James Fawcett on drums. Their second album was produced by Jason Perry, whose credits include McFly, Don Broco and The Molotovs, and released through FLG, the Frontiers Label Group. "It definitely sounds fiercer than the last one, and a lot has happened since we released our first album," Smith has said. Henderson puts it this way: "A lot of the songs touch heavier and more aggressive, while others lean into that vulnerability."

The album's press notes set out what the songs deal with. "Rewire," the lead single and opening track, shown above, addresses political discontent. "Lost A Friend" and "All I Want" deal with grief and absence, and "Wolf" with outward confidence set against private insecurity. Smith calls "Simple Life" "a reminder to appreciate life's smaller moments amid the chaos." "Thunder Strike" was written with Kieran Shudall of Circa Waves.

The band's debut, Once Upon A Weekend, arrived in 2024 and reached the Top 5 of the UK Independent Breakers chart. Since then Corella have played the main stage at Reading & Leeds and toured with Kaiser Chiefs, Pale Waves, Circa Waves and The Wombats.
