7-Inch 45 RPM Single in a Full-Color Picture Sleeve
ABKCO issued this 7-inch single on September 25, 2020, for the 60th anniversary of "The Twist." It plays at 45 RPM and backs the hit with both of its original B-sides: "Toot," the flip of the first Parkway issue in June 1960, and "Twistin' U.S.A.," the flip of the November 1961 reissue. The full-color picture sleeve carries the Parkway logo and the line "The Record That Started Everybody Twistin'."
Teri Landi made the tape transfers at ABKCO Studio in New York, Joe Yannece handled mastering, and Carl Rowatti cut the lacquers at Trutone Mastering in Nanuet, New York.
Hank Ballard wrote "The Twist," and Hank Ballard and the Midnighters first released it in 1959 as a B-side. Checker's cover went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 19, 1960, for one week, then returned to the top for two weeks from January 13, 1962, at the time the only song to reach No. 1 in two separate chart runs. Both "The Twist" and "Twistin' U.S.A." also appear on his 1960 debut album, Twist with Chubby Checker.
The official video, made by ABKCO for the anniversary, is built from Checker's October 21, 1961 performance of the song on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
