This single LP holds Adolescence, the third of the three volumes that make up Camille's The Sound of Milk, and nothing else: eleven songs, pressed on random-colored eco-vinyl so that each copy's coloring is its own, in a sleeve with a printed inner sleeve. The complete work is issued separately as the Integral Edition on three LPs. Because Music issues it as BEC5618030.

The Sound of Milk is Camille's first album in nine years. It follows her work on the soundtrack to Jacques Audiard's Emilia Pérez, whose song "El Mal", written with Clément Ducol and Audiard, won the Academy Award and the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. The album is built as a triptych about motherhood. Birth is an intimate sound diary, Childhood is arranged for voice and cello, and Adolescence, the volume on this record, is the produced, pop-oriented one, carrying the album's singles.

The campaign opened in March 2026 with "La Terre", the second song on side B. Camille Dalmais has recorded as Camille since her 2002 debut, Le Sac des Filles, and her catalog includes Le Fil (2005) and Music Hole (2008).
