This limited single LP on Misty White vinyl was made for Elektra Records' 75th anniversary, one of the label's catalog titles that Rhino returned to vinyl through July 2025, a new release each Friday of the month. It was issued on July 4, 2025. The lacquers were cut from the original analog masters by Bernie Grundman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, and the record is housed in a gatefold jacket carrying catalog number RCV1 75056 on the spine. Some retailers list the same disc as milky or cloudy clear.
The Best of Bread first appeared on Elektra in 1973, gathering twelve songs the band had released between 1969 and 1972, eleven of them drawn from On the Waters, Manna and Baby I'm-a Want You. It reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 7 in the UK, and the RIAA has certified it 5x Platinum. David Gates produced the set and wrote eight of its songs alone; James Griffin and Robb Royer wrote three more together, and Gates and Griffin shared "Down on My Knees."
Side A opens with "Make It with You," which in 1970 became Bread's only No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Evergreen Vinyl ships records with care and attention to detail, using established carriers and packaging practices designed to protect physical media in transit.
