A 2026 repress of Burying Brightness on a single LP split by side: grape on one face, white on the other. The album first appeared on October 14, 2022, the band's first for 3DOT Recordings, the label run by Periphery.

Boundaries are a metalcore band from Hartford, Connecticut, and Burying Brightness followed the 2020 full-length Your Receding Warmth. The label announced the signing and the album together on August 11, 2022, leading with "Heaven's Broken Heart." Twelve tracks run about 40 minutes, closing with "The Tower" at just over ten; track nine is untitled on the record and lasts 46 seconds.

3Dot's notes for this pressing describe a band that stretches its sound close to breaking, setting polyrhythmic passages against melodic ones, and place the album in a line that runs from the Hartford County Misery EP in 2017 through Your Receding Warmth in 2020 to Death Is Little More in 2024.
