The independent-retail edition of Bloc Party's seventh studio album: a single 140-gram LP on recycled red vinyl, in a single sleeve with a printed inner. The band's own store sells the album on black, so the red pressing is sold through independent shops only.
Anatomy of a Brief Romance was produced by Trevor Horn and released September 11, 2026 through Contagious and Virgin. It is written as a single narrative, following one year-long relationship from beginning to end, and Kele Okereke has said every lyric on it describes something that happened to him.
The lineup is Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Louise Bartle and Harry Deacon. "Coming On Strong" led the campaign, with "Pigwig" following as a video.
