Orange Marble Vinyl LP, Marvel Legend Has It Series

This is the Marvel Variant Edition of Harlem's Finest: Return Of The King: a single LP on orange marble vinyl, issued by Mass Appeal as catalog number MSAP183MAR on June 12, 2026. The front is a comic-book variant cover that shows Big L as "The Wordsmith" under the Legend Has It... masthead. The jacket credits the cover art to Greg Land and Rachelle Rosenberg and the sketches to Sanford Greene, and the spine carries the number 05. Inside the gatefold are Big L character sketches. The inner sleeve is a black-and-white comic collage of all seven Legend Has It... artists, and the disc label reads "Exclusive Limited Edition Vinyl." A sticker on the jacket says a bonus sticker pack is included. Mass Appeal's notes describe the edition as pressed in limited quantities.

The record is one of seven Marvel variant LPs that Mass Appeal released after Legend Has It... #1, its first comic made with Marvel Comics. The same seven albums were also collected in a Marvel variant box set.

The album first came out on October 31, 2025. It is Big L's fifth studio album and the fourth released after his death. Mass Appeal assembled it from unreleased recordings and rare freestyles as the fifth title in its Legend Has It... series, and Royce da 5'9" served as executive producer. Big L's vocals date from 1992 to 1999, and the production and most guest vocals were added in 2025. Mass Appeal and Nas worked with Big L's family and estate to finish it. The family has pointed out that Big L and Nas both signed to Columbia in 1992.

The back cover lists the guests. Nas appears on the lead single "U Aint Gotta Chance." Method Man is on "Fred Samuel Playground," Joe Budden on "Doo Wop Freestyle ('99)," and Mac Miller and Pale Jay on "Forever." "7 Minute Freestyle" carries a Jay-Z verse recorded in 1995, and Mac Miller's vocal dates from 2010.
