Indie Exclusive Custard Colored Vinyl

Wax Bodega pressed this edition on custard-colored vinyl for independent record stores only, and issued it on the same day as a multi-colored Crayon edition. The single LP carries all seven songs.

The record first came out in 2022, and Ben Quad's Bandcamp lists its vinyl and cassette editions through Chillwavve Records and Thumbs Up Records. The band's own note on that page is brief: "This is our debut album. Thank you for listening." Wax Bodega's notes quote BrooklynVegan calling it "some of the tightest, catchiest math rock-indebted emo released this year," and the label first reissued it on Lava and Stripes vinyl variants.

Pure Noise Records, which signed the Oklahoma City quartet in August 2024, traces the band to a Craigslist meeting. The label describes the 2024 EP Ephemera as screamo-influenced. Wisher, the band's first album for Pure Noise, was produced by Jon Markson at his New Jersey farm studio, with guest spots from Sam Canty of Treaty Oak Revival and Nathan Hardy of Microwave.
