The compact disc edition of Ride Lonesome, Beck's first album of new material since Hyperspace.

Beck produced it and Nigel Godrich mixed it, in Room B at United Studios in Hollywood — a room Beck calls his favourite studio. He brought back the players from Sea Change, Morning Phase and Mutations: Smokey Hormel, Joey Waronker, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Jason Falkner. "While we were revisiting a musical and physical place, it also felt like we were finding new sounds and emotional textures along the way," he said of the sessions.

"In The Night" arrived as a single in July 2026, its video directed by Mikai Karl and starring Denis Lavant. "Disappearing Act" followed in August.

One difference between formats worth noting: this CD lists track ten as "Live Without You/Falling Through My Hands," where the vinyl lists it as "Falling Through My Hands."
