Pylon is beabadoobee's fourth album, written on the road while she was supporting This Is How Tomorrow Moves. She has described it as "made and written inbetween tours and on tour, i missed home," and the songs began as diary entries — words she thought she would never be able to say out loud. The title comes from the electricity towers that line every major road, the things that kept reminding her of the people she was away from while she was gone.

She produced the record with Shane Moran and Luca Buccellati, with Matty Healy and George Daniel additionally producing "Write Me A Letter." Hayley Williams appears on "Nothing To Prove" and Turnstile's Brendan Yates on "Powerlines"; Chino Moreno of Deftones and Pinegrove's Evan Stephens Hall also feature. The label describes the result as touching classic grunge, midwest emo and '90s radio rock, more intense and more direct than anything she has made before.

"Sun Has Set" led in June 2026, followed by "Switchblade" in July and "Memories" in August.
