A single LP pressed on Really Really Red vinyl, catalog V4G-01LPA, issued by Many Hats Dist. The jacket carries a hype sticker naming the variant and the catalog number, over sleeve art built from a sepia photomontage of airships above a frozen city park.

Megatons is the second album by The Barbarians Of California, the hardcore band built around Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION and producer-engineer Eric Stenman. Stenman came up in the Sacramento scene that also produced Deftones, Far, Will Haven, Team Sleep, Hella, Dance Gavin Dance, Death Grips and Trash Talk.

The debut, And Now I'm Just Gnashing My Teeth, arrived in 2024 and was marked with a show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Through 2025 the band played headline dates in Los Angeles, an arena run with Deftones over the summer and a set of festival appearances, and released two singles, one of them with Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die and Many Eyes.

Twelve tracks, two of which are titled as segues. The video above is the band's own official clip for "The Gnarlycore Class."
