Black Vinyl LP

Secretly Canadian and Chimera Music reissued Feeling the Space in July 2017, and this is the black vinyl LP, catalog number SC284. It keeps the original twelve-song album across two sides. The bonus tracks added to the 2017 reissue, songs once meant for a double-album version of the record, are not on this LP.

Feeling the Space was Ono's fourth solo album, released in 1973 and her last on Apple Records. She wrote every song and produced it herself, and Secretly Canadian's notes describe it as the record she made while estranged from John Lennon. Lennon plays guitar on "Woman Power" and "She Hits Back" under the name John O'Cean. The liner notes parody adult personal ads, listing the male players' telephone numbers and vital statistics, with Lennon's number given as "Not for Sale."

The band includes guitarist David Spinozza, saxophonist Michael Brecker, drummer Jim Keltner, bassist Gordon Edwards, keyboardist Ken Ascher and Sneaky Pete Kleinow on pedal steel, with the Something Different chorus on five songs. Ono dedicated the album "to the sisters who died in pain and sorrow and those who are now in prisons and in mental hospitals for being unable to survive in the male society." On release, Billboard called it her most commercial LP yet.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
