This Record Store Day 2024 edition of Love Alive was pressed on 180-gram opaque orange vinyl by Light Records under catalog number MNK-LP-644018. The jacket reproduces the original 1975 artwork and liner notes, a download card is included, and the label's sticker bills it as the album's first time on vinyl in almost 50 years.
Walter Hawkins founded Love Center Church in Oakland after leaving the Edwin Hawkins Singers, the group behind the 1968 crossover hit "Oh Happy Day." He produced this first Love Alive record with the church's choir, with Phil Edwards as engineer. The nine songs include "Changed," which runs close to eight minutes and has its own reprise, and the closing "Goin' Up Yonder."
The album began a series that continued with Love Alive II in 1978, and by the 1990s the Love Alive recordings had sold well over a million copies combined. Love Alive IV later spent 33 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Evergreen Vinyl ships records with care and attention to detail, using established carriers and packaging practices designed to protect physical media in transit.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
