This 45 RPM 7-inch from WaterTower Music (WTM40315) puts both recordings of "Daily Battles" from Edward Norton's Motherless Brooklyn on one disc, one per side. Stephen Marsh cut the lacquers at The Lathe Room, and Norton is credited as producer.
Side A is the original. Norton emailed Thom Yorke asking for a song, and Yorke sent "Daily Battles" back about two weeks later. His Atoms for Peace bandmate Flea added bass and horns.
Side B is Wynton Marsalis's arrangement, a ballad played with pianist Isaiah J. Thompson, bassist Russell Hall, saxophonist Jerry Weldon and drummer Joe Farnsworth. Both versions are heard in the film, which is set in 1950s New York and adapted from Jonathan Lethem's 1999 novel. The pair reached streaming services in August 2019, and this single followed on October 4, 2019, ahead of the film's November release.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
Tracking & Safe Delivery
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.
Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.
