Splintered Tomb Colored Vinyl

The standard edition of the double album, pressed on Splintered Tomb vinyl: one disc in coke bottle with black marbling, the second in purple. Futurismo gives this pressing the catalog number FTRSMO58A. Three vinyl colorways were made in all, and this is the one issued to general release.

Twenty-four recordings sit across four sides, six to a side. The color inner sleeves print the running order side by side and are numbered by disc, so the sequence is readable off the sleeve rather than the label.

The selection is Wesley Eisold's, made with Futurismo's Del Jae; Eisold fronts Cold Cave and sang in American Nightmare. Futurismo frames the material as a specifically American strain rather than an offshoot of the British scene of the same years, and describes the sound as punk's do-it-yourself method and hardcore's speed put through echo, distortion and tribal drumming, with lyrics drawn from horror pictures, surrealism and religious imagery turned on its head. It is the third volume of Altered Vision, the label's anthology line.

Housed in a gloss laminated outer sleeve, the package adds a large fold-out poster carrying previously unpublished photographs by Edward Colver, whose pictures of the era run through the artwork, together with text by Lisa Fancher and Eisold's liner notes.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
