Indie Exclusive Orange Vinyl 2LP With Etched Side D

Rhino pressed this edition of Balance on two orange LPs for independent record stores, in a gatefold jacket. The twelve songs take three sides, and the fourth carries a Balance-era etching in place of grooves. It is the first time the complete album has been on vinyl in thirty years, and the instrumental "Baluchitherium" returns to the vinyl format for the first time since the 1995 release.

The audio is the 2023 remaster made for the box set The Collection II. Rhino released this Expanded Edition on August 15, 2025, for the album's 30th anniversary, and it closed the label's run of reissues of the band's albums with Sammy Hagar.

Balance first came out on January 24, 1995. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the band's fourth straight studio album to reach the top, and the RIAA certified it triple Platinum; "The Seventh Seal" was nominated for the Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance. It is the last studio album by the lineup of Hagar, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony.

Bruce Fairbairn produced it. Most of the album was recorded at Eddie Van Halen's 5150 Studios in Studio City, with five lead vocals cut in Vancouver, where Fairbairn lived, and Mike Fraser mixed it. "Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do)," the video above, went to radio as the first single in December 1994, and Rhino's anniversary announcement names it and "Can't Stop Lovin' You" as the album's rock radio hits.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
