Black Vinyl LP

This is the standard black vinyl LP of The Next Four Years from Temporary Residence, catalog number TRR234. The label packs an MP3 download coupon with a digital bonus track inside. The eleven songs split six and five across the two sides and run just under half an hour. "Serious Business," the opening track, was the first song released from the album and is in the video above, from the label's channel.

United Nations started as a side project among musicians from Thursday, Glassjaw and Converge, and for years only singer Geoff Rickly could be named, because the others were under contract to other labels. Early press photos showed the band in Ronald Reagan masks. By this album the lineup was Rickly, Jonah Bayer and Lukas Previn, with David Haik and Zac Sewell of Pianos Become the Teeth. Kevin Bernsten recorded it.

Temporary Residence released the album in July 2014, six years after the band's self-titled debut. The band meant it to be heard first as a hand-assembled box of 1,000, splitting the same songs across a cassette, two 7-inch singles and a 10-inch. The LP, CD and digital versions carry cover art inspired by Black Flag's compilation The First Four Years.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
