30th Anniversary Edition, 180 Gram Black 2LP

The 30th anniversary vinyl edition spreads The Joshua Tree over two 180-gram LPs, so each side holds two or three songs. It comes in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves and a 12-inch-square booklet of lyrics, photographs and credits. Island, Interscope and UMe issued it in the US on June 2, 2017, under catalog number B0026626-01, the year U2 toured the album in full for its anniversary.

The sleeve came out of a trip into the Mojave Desert in December 1986, when the band spent several days on a bus with photographer Anton Corbijn and designer Steve Averill. The working titles had been The Desert Songs and The Two Americas. Corbijn shot the front cover at Zabriskie Point in Death Valley.

The album first came out on March 9, 1987, and it put U2 on the cover of Time that April 27 as "Rock's Hottest Ticket," the fourth rock band to appear there. In the US it was the first album by any artist to sell a million copies on CD, and it has since been certified diamond. The video above is "With or Without You," one of the album's two US number-one singles.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
