Tough Under Fire on orange vinyl, catalog number REALM128LP-O, from Lost Realm Records in Portugal, limited to 150 copies per High Roller Records' listing. Lost Realm's notes call it the album's long-awaited official reissue, remastered from original audio sources and packaged with rare band photos, liner notes and lyrics. An insert and an A2 poster are included.
Tsunami's second album was issued on LP in Germany in 1990 by Intercord (IRS 951.925). It was recorded at the Big House in Campbell, California, produced and engineered by Dave Shogren, and mastered by Eddy Schreyer at Capitol Records. Ed Anzilotti painted the cover: a burning sun streaking over a desert canyon.
The lineup had changed since the 1983 debut: Koshi Shioya on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie Francis on lead and twelve-string guitar, Salvador Max on bass and Steven Tsutsumi on drums. "The Runaround," a single from the debut, appears again as the third track, and the label chose it for this reissue's promo video.
