Indie Exclusive Crystal Clear Vinyl

A twelve-track record built on one idea: that the two halves of Tobe Nwigwe's upbringing were never separate. He grew up in Southwest Alief, Houston, in a Nigerian household, and has described the album as a meditation on that double inheritance. "Growing up in Houston as the son of Nigerian immigrants, I learned over time that none of those identities were ever in conflict but are all part of the same story," he said when the tracklist was announced in August 2026. Writing about the record elsewhere, he put it as "for anyone who's ever realized they don't have to shrink one part of themselves to honor another."

The guest list runs across both sides of that bridge. Busta Rhymes opens the record on "CHINEKE." Nigerian highlife duo The Cavemen. appear three times; Adekunle Gold and Flavour bring Lagos pop and highlife; Odumodublvck and Hanumankind sit alongside Scarface on "PEACE AND PROBLEMS." From the American side come Jay Electronica, Paul Wall, K Camp, Sia, Malice of Clipse, Jacob Banks, Infinity Song, Firstklaz and CS Armstrong. Fat Nwigwe appears across multiple tracks. The album was announced as a collaborative project with producer Tierce "Kizzo."

"ALL OR NOTHING," made with Labrinth, was the lead single and the first material released from the project. Nwigwe previewed songs from the record at the Blue Note in New York in June 2026. The cover photograph places him and Fat Nwigwe in traditional Nigerian dress on an ordinary city street, with the album's label copy describing the record as "12 songs that carry the heartbeat of H-Town and the roots of West Africa into one cohesive vision."

This pressing is the indie exclusive edition, a single LP on crystal clear vinyl.
