Eco-Mix Black Vinyl 2LP

This edition presses The Alchemy Index Vols. I & II: Fire & Water on two records of eco-mix black vinyl, described in the release notes as a standalone vinyl version of the album.

Fire & Water was released on October 16, 2007, four days after the band streamed it on Myspace, as the first half of The Alchemy Index, a project giving six songs to each of the four classical elements. Every volume ends on a sonnet written from the point of view of that element's spirit. Howie Weinberg mastered the album at Masterdisk in July 2007, and Dustin Kensrue, who wrote the lyrics, also drew the artwork after an earlier plan to work with Dave Eggers ran out of time.

"Firebreather" and "Digital Sea" premiered together on Spinner.com on September 17, 2007; the choral vocals on "Firebreather" come from Aushua, Nick Bogardus, Brent Kredel and Brett Williams. The album sold 28,000 copies in its first week, reaching No. 1 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and No. 7 on Top Alternative Albums. Vols. III & IV: Air & Earth followed in 2008, and a 2009 box set later pressed all four elements on 10-inch vinyl.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
