Metallic Blue Vinyl LP, Record Store Day Black Friday 2023
Real Gone Music issued Blue on metallic blue vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday on November 24, 2023, limited to 2,500 copies worldwide, with a printed inner sleeve carrying the lyrics. The reissue is licensed from Universal Music Enterprises, and its lacquers were cut at Well Made Music.
Blue was The Jesus Lizard's sixth studio album, released by Capitol in April 1998. Andy Gill of Gang of Four produced it at Chicago Recording Company, and mixing was split between Gill, Jeff Lane and Joe Barresi. David Yow sings, with Duane Denison on guitar, David Wm. Sims on bass and Jim Kimball, who joined on drums for this album and the self-titled EP issued two months before it.
"A Tale of Two Women" was released as a single in May 1998. Real Gone's notes point to the jazz turn of "Until It Stopped to Die," and "Needles for Teeth (Version)" was partly recorded at the Record Plant in Los Angeles.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
