180 Gram Black Vinyl with 4-Page Lyric Booklet

This is Music On Vinyl's black-vinyl edition of The Calling's debut album, catalog number MOVLP3137, pressed on 180-gram vinyl and packed in a slip sleeve with a four-page booklet of lyrics. The Dutch label first reissued the record in December 2022 as 1,500 individually numbered copies on translucent blue vinyl under MOVLP3137C; this black pressing followed in July 2026. It was made in the Netherlands and issued for the European market, where the label holds the rights.

RCA first released Camino Palmero on July 10, 2001. It was recorded at Cherokee Studios in Hollywood with Marc Tanner producing and Ron Fair as executive producer. The title comes from the Los Angeles street where Alex Band and Aaron Kamin first met, and the cover photograph shows platforms 5 and 6 of Santa Maria Novella station in Florence. The band on the record is Band on lead vocals, Kamin on lead guitar, Sean Woolstenhulme on rhythm guitar, Billy Mohler on bass and Nate Wood on drums, joined by Fair on synthesizer, Bob Glaub on bass, Paul Mirkovich on keyboards and Zac Rae on organ.

The album reached number 36 on the Billboard 200 and number 12 on the UK Albums Chart, and made the top 10 in Austria, France, Germany, New Zealand and Norway. Music On Vinyl's notes put its US sales at one million copies. Lead single "Wherever You Will Go" peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 23 weeks at the top of the Adult Top 40, with "Adrienne" and "Could It Be Any Harder" following in 2002. Side B closes on an acoustic take of "Wherever You Will Go."
