10th Anniversary Limited Edition White & Sky Blue Swirl Double LP

Silver Arrow Records issued this 10th anniversary pressing of Before the Frost... Until the Freeze in March 2019 and limited it to 750 copies. Both discs are pressed on white and sky blue swirl vinyl and come in a gatefold jacket. Printed inner sleeves carry the lyrics and credits. The records were made in the Czech Republic, and the catalog number is SA 02 LP.

The four sides follow the vinyl running order. When the album first came out in 2009, the CD held only the Before the Frost... half and came with a code to download ...Until the Freeze from the band's website. The vinyl edition put all twenty songs on record in a different sequence, and that is the sequence pressed here.

The Black Crowes recorded the album at The Barn, Levon Helm's studio in Woodstock, New York, in late February and early March 2009. They played the new songs over five nights in front of a small studio audience. Longtime collaborator Paul Stacey produced, and the record came out on Silver Arrow, the band's own label. Chris and Rich Robinson wrote the songs except "So Many Times," a Chris Hillman and Stephen Stills composition. It was the band's last album of original material with drummer Steve Gorman, guitarist Luther Dickinson and keyboardist Adam MacDougall. The sessions were also filmed, and the footage came out on DVD in November 2009 as Cabin Fever.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Tracking & Safe Delivery

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

If a shipment is delayed, missing, or marked as delivered but not received, we’re happy to assist in coordinating with the carrier.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
