180 Gram Black Vinyl 2LP in Gatefold Jacket

This is the double-LP edition of The Age of Adz, catalog number AKR077: two 180-gram black discs in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves and a download coupon. The album runs close to 75 minutes, which is a lot for two records. To make it fit, the fifth and final part of "Impossible Soul" sits unlisted at the end of Side C, and the rest of the 25-minute song takes up all of Side D.

Asthmatic Kitty released the album on October 12, 2010, Stevens' first full-length collection of new songs since Illinois five years earlier. The songs trade the banjo of his earlier records for electronics, glitchy beats and orchestration. The cover and interior art are by Royal Robertson, a self-proclaimed prophet from Louisiana; Stevens came to his work while making music for a friend's documentary about him.

Shara Nova of My Brightest Diamond sings backing vocals throughout and takes a solo in "Impossible Soul," and St. Vincent sings on "Now That I'm Older." The album opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with 36,000 copies sold, his best first week at the time, and went to No. 1 on Billboard's Rock, Independent, Alternative and Folk Albums charts. "Too Much," shown above, was the second single.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
