This is the standard black vinyl LP of The Official Body, released by FatCat Records under catalog number FATLP147 and pressed by GZ Media. The ten songs run five to a side, and a download code is included. A limited white vinyl edition was pressed separately under catalog number FATLP147LTD.
The Official Body is the third album by the post-punk trio Shopping, following Consumer Complaints (2013) and Why Choose (2015), and was released on January 19, 2018. Edwyn Collins of Orange Juice produced it, recording the band over ten days at his Clashnarrow studio in Helmsdale, Scotland. The band's own notes describe adding synths and drum pads to push the songs further toward the dance floor, after losing their London rehearsal space and with their drummer having moved to Glasgow.
Rachel Aggs plays guitar, Billy Easter plays bass and Andrew Milk plays drums; Easter also took the cover photograph. "The Hype" was released as the first single in September 2017. The album holds a Metacritic score of 76, Pitchfork rated it 8.1, and critic Tom Hull gave it an A-minus, comparing its rhythm and tone to Wire, Gang of Four and Joy Division.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
