Black 180g Vinyl LP

This is Music On Vinyl's 180-gram black vinyl edition of Dust, catalog number MOVLP247, issued in Europe with the original Epic label credit and first released in this form in 2011. The ten songs sit five to a side on a single LP, and Music On Vinyl manufactures and distributes the pressing.

Dust was first released by Epic on June 25, 1996, as the follow-up to 1992's Sweet Oblivion, and it was the last album Screaming Trees released while the band was together; they officially disbanded in 2000. George Drakoulias produced it, with sessions at Capitol Studios and the Hit Factory among others; Andy Wallace mixed it and Howie Weinberg mastered it at Masterdisk. Music On Vinyl's notes describe the record as drawing on folk and blues as much as on the psychedelic rock and punk of the band's earlier work, while keeping a harder edge.

Mark Lanegan sings, Gary Lee Conner plays guitar and sitar, Van Conner plays bass, and Barrett Martin plays drums along with percussion, cello and harmonium. Benmont Tench adds organ, piano and Mellotron, and Pearl Jam's Mike McCready plays the guitar solo on "Dying Days." "All I Know" and "Sworn And Broken" were released as singles. The album reached No. 134 on the Billboard 200, No. 5 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and No. 32 in the UK, and Kerrang! named it the best album of 1996.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
