50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition 180g Vinyl LP With Bonus CD

This is BMG's 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Savage Amusement, catalog number 538150201, issued in Europe in 2015 as part of the reissue series marking the band's 50th anniversary. The original nine-song album is pressed on a single 180-gram LP, remastered in 2015 by Dieter Wegner, with vinyl cutting by John Cremer; the runouts are etched. Packed with it is a CD in a paper sleeve, catalog number 538159432, that carries the album plus six bonus tracks: five previously unreleased demos and a cover of The Who's "I Can't Explain." The edition was manufactured by Optimal Media in Germany.

Savage Amusement was first released in 1988, on Harvest/EMI in Europe and Mercury in the US. It was recorded in 1987 and 1988 at Dierks Studios in Stommeln and Scorpio Sound Studios in Hanover, mixed at Battery Studios in London and mastered by Howie Weinberg at Masterdisk in New York. Dieter Dierks produced it, and it was the last Scorpions album he produced.

Klaus Meine sings, Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs play guitar, Francis Buchholz plays bass and Herman Rarebell plays drums, with Lee Aaron on backing vocals on "Rhythm Of Love." "Rhythm Of Love," "Believe In Love" and "Passion Rules The Game" were released as singles. The album reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200, No. 4 in Germany and No. 18 in the UK, and the RIAA certified it Platinum in June 1988.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
