180g Black Vinyl LP In Gatefold Sleeve

This is Music On Vinyl's 2026 reissue of Santana's third album, catalog number MOVLP3723, pressed on 180-gram black vinyl at Record Industry in the Netherlands and housed in a gatefold sleeve. It carries the original nine-track album, four songs on side A and five on side B.

Columbia first released the album on September 24, 1971. It is the band's second self-titled record and is usually called Santana III to tell it apart from the 1969 debut; the cover is a reversed variation of an Arthur Lidov painting. The band produced it at Columbia Studios in San Francisco, with John Fiore engineering. It was the last album by the Woodstock-era lineup until Santana IV reunited it in 2016, and the first to include guitarist Neal Schon and percussionist Coke Escovedo.

Gregg Rolie sings lead and plays keyboards alongside Carlos Santana on guitar, Schon, David Brown on bass, Michael Shrieve on drums, and José "Chepito" Areas and Mike Carabello on percussion. The Tower of Power horns play on "Everybody's Everything," which reached No. 12 in the US. "No One to Depend On," an uncredited adaptation of Willie Bobo's boogaloo standard "Spanish Grease," reached No. 36. The album went to No. 1 in the US and was the band's last chart-topping album until Supernatural in 1999.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
