Numbered Turquoise & Blue Swirl 140g Vinyl LP

This Music On Vinyl edition of Southern Stars, catalog number MOVLP4018, is limited to 750 individually numbered copies on 140-gram turquoise and blue swirled vinyl. All ten songs fit on a single LP, five per side. It was issued in 2026 and manufactured in the Netherlands.

Southern Stars is Rose Tattoo's fourth studio album, first released by Albert Productions on October 10, 1984. Harry Vanda and George Young, known for their work with AC/DC, produced it at Albert Studios in Sydney. Angry Anderson said the theme of the album was "the spirit of the Eureka Stockade," and described it as "patriotic" and "moralistic."

Anderson and bassist Geordie Leach were joined by three new members: Greg Jordan on slide and lead guitar, John Meyer on guitar and Scott Johnston on drums. The record moved the band toward a more AOR sound while keeping its hard rock and boogie blues roots. "I Wish" was the lead single and reached No. 32 on the Kent Music Report, "Freedom's Flame" and "No Secrets" followed, and the album peaked at No. 30. The Canberra Times wrote in 1985 that it was "imbued with a sense of awareness that may surprise more than a few followers."

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
