This is the standard black pressing of Texas Piano Man, issued by New West Records under catalog number NW5284 on 150-gram vinyl. Joe LaPorta mastered the album and John Golden cut the lacquers. A limited sky blue pressing for independent stores and a Yellow Rose of Texas edition sold by New West were issued alongside it.
New West released the record on February 14, 2019. Ellis wrote the songs on grand piano and co-produced the album with Niles City Sound in Fort Worth, Texas, taking on the persona of the white-suited pianist of the title. The cover shows him at a grand piano on a mountain outside Marfa.
"Fucking Crazy" opens the record. NPR Music premiered the song, and its video, directed by Erica Alexandria Silverman, was also shot in Marfa. Kelly Doyle plays guitar, Geoffrey Muller bass and Tank Lisenbe drums, with Lisenbe also arranging.
The album reached No. 11 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart, No. 25 on Independent Albums and No. 18 on the UK Country Albums chart. It holds a Metacritic score of 82, and Paste gave it 7.7.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.
Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.
