Indie Exclusive Gold Nugget Vinyl

This is the independent-retail pressing of River Shook's self-titled album: a single LP on Gold Nugget colored vinyl, issued in the US by Blackberry River under catalog number BBR 001. Two other vinyl editions carry their own barcodes, a standard black LP and a blue pressing sold through the artist's store. The back cover runs five songs a side, with "Fading" closing Side A and "Blue Vervain" opening Side B.

River Shook is Shook's first solo album, released June 26, 2026 on Blackberry River, the artist's own label. It came together after Sarah Shook & the Disarmers ended a ten-year run in the summer of 2025. When the demos drew no label interest, Shook proposed making the record at home on a small budget with partner and lead guitarist Blake Tallent. The Disarmers played their last show at the end of June, and recording began on July 1 in the pair's home studio in rural North Carolina. "I had to completely kill my old self," Shook has said of the new writing.

Shook wrote every song and co-produced with Tallent. Shook sings and plays acoustic and electric guitar; Tallent covers electric, slide, acoustic and 12-string guitar, drums, bass, Wurlitzer, organ, piano, percussion and harmonica. Gena Johnson mixed the album in Nashville and Brent Lambert mastered it in Carrboro, North Carolina. The video above is the official clip for "Country Angel." Saving Country Music gave the album 8.2 out of 10 and described it as "a soaring, epic work of twangy country mixed with an indie rock rise."

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment is received. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.

We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on destination, package size, and service availability. Carrier selection is made at the time of fulfillment.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Tracking & Safe Delivery

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
