Opaque Orange Vinyl 3LP In Widespine Sleeve

Edsel pressed this edition of the Düsseldorf concert on opaque orange vinyl, identified by catalog number DEMREC1343X on its hype sticker. The orange set's own barcode, 5014797913738, is printed on that sticker; the back cover beneath it is shared with the black edition. Three LPs in a widespine sleeve carry six sides cut at Ten Eight Seven Mastering by Rob Thomas from a new master by Andy Pearce and Matt Wortham, pressed by GZ Media.

The recording comes from one of Rainbow's first European shows, on September 27, 1976, at the Philipshalle. According to Edsel, the band reached Europe with both Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and Rising already on the charts and was playing to sold-out halls. Until this release the concert had circulated only on CD, as a standalone double album and inside the Japanese box set Deutschland Tournee 1976.

Blackmore led a five-piece with Ronnie James Dio, Cozy Powell, Jimmy Bain and Tony Carey. "Stargazer" runs close to sixteen minutes and the closing "Still I'm Sad," a Yardbirds song issued as an instrumental on the band's debut album and sung here by Dio, runs nearly seventeen. Joe Geesin of Get Ready to Rock! called the set one "to treasure and to play," and noted that the photographs and sleeve notes from the 2026 Temple Of The King box are not carried over to this vinyl issue.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
