This tenth-anniversary pressing of The Dream Is Over is on clear vinyl with red and orange swirl, in a lenticular jacket whose cover shows a moving flame. SideOneDummy made the edition with the band and released it on August 21, 2026.
PUP are a four-piece from Toronto: Stefan Babcock on vocals and guitar, Steve Sladkowski on guitar, Nestor Chumak on bass and Zack Mykula on drums. After their self-titled debut they played more than 450 shows in two years. Then a doctor found a cyst on one of Babcock's vocal cords that had started to hemorrhage, the band canceled its last shows of 2015, and the doctor's words to him, "the dream is over," became the title of the next record.
The album came out in 2016. The band announced it from the stage at a sold-out show in Brooklyn. Its ten songs include "If This Tour Doesn't Kill You, I Will" and "My Life Is Over & I Couldn't Be Happier." The video above is the band's official clip for "DVP."
