180 Gram Black Vinyl 2LP
Nintendo and Laced Records bring the score of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to vinyl — the first time a Nintendo soundtrack has been commercially released on records outside of Japan. The game arrived March 3, 2017 and its music introduced a bold new palette to the series: the minimalist open-world piano, the alien textures of Sheikah technology, and the choral-orchestral weight of the Divine Beast battles.
This double LP collects 34 cues sequenced as a tour of Hyrule in the final days of the Great Calamity, from the opening piano notes of "Main Theme" through "Overworld (Day)," "Great Fairy Fountain," and "Hyrule Castle" to the closing "Epilogue." The composition team was Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, and Hajime Wakai.
Pressed on 180g heavyweight black vinyl, with printed inner sleeves housed in a widespined outer sleeve. All packaging carries archival artwork from the team behind the game.
