Sanctuary is the sixth studio album from Evanescence, released June 5, 2026 on BMG. Amy Lee, Troy McLawhorn, Tim McCord and Will Hunt are joined by bassist Emma Anzai, her first record with the band. Production is split between Jordan Fish, Zakk Cervini and Nick Raskulinecz, with sessions at MDDN Studios and Steakhouse Studios in Los Angeles and Rock Falcon Studio in Nashville. Cervini mixed the album and Ted Jensen mastered it.

The album is led by "Afterlife," written for the Netflix series Devil May Cry and released in March 2025, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, and by "Who Will You Follow," released in April 2026. Five of the twelve tracks carry orchestral string arrangements, conducted by Susie Benchasil Seiter.
