Led by saxophonist/vocalist Stan Bronstein, Elephant's Memory are best remembered for backing John Lennon and Yoko Ono, but first made their name as a political street band in Greenwich Village. Originally released on Metromedia in 1970, Take It to the Streets opens with the funky minor hit Mongoose and captures a gloriously grimy late-'60s downtown vibe.

First reissue in any format — remastered and pressed on clear-with-black-swirl vinyl.
