The Descendents' first live album, Liveage! was recorded July 13, 1987 at First Avenue in Minneapolis on the summer "FinALL" tour — named for Milo Aukerman's planned departure to pursue biochemistry, which brought the band's original run to a close. Produced by drummer Bill Stevenson, it works as a de facto best-of of that era, running through "Suburban Home," "Silly Girl," "Clean Sheets," "Myage" and the rest of the set in quick, unsentimental succession. The band drew on a different batch of songs from the same stretch of shows for a second live album, Hallraker, two years later.
