Shatter is the soundtrack to the 1974 Hammer and Shaw Brothers crime thriller, where martial arts collide with the Mob. After a fractious Hong Kong production, David Lindup composed and recorded a suite of music and songs for the film in late 1974, much of it later buried under action and sound effects in the final cut. For the first time, this 12-inch LP restores roughly thirty minutes of the score as originally intended - main theme, alternate cues, and incidental pieces - pressed on orange vinyl as a limited collector's edition for library-music and film-score fans.
