Originally issued in 1980 as a limited cassette on Throbbing Gristle's Industrial Records, Clock DVA's debut White Souls in Black Suits returns in a 2025 remaster with four bonus tracks from the same era. Led by Adi Newton and recorded at Cabaret Voltaire's Western Works, it's a largely improvised, coldwave-industrial landmark of Sheffield's early scene — surveillance, obsession and psychological decay set to mutant funk and noir electronics.
