Import Black Vinyl LP

Go! Beat's own single-LP edition of Dummy, catalog number 828 522-1, the number the album has carried on vinyl since its first pressing. Ten tracks are split five to a side, from "Mysterons" to "Glory Box." The sleeve credits note that every track was recorded at State Of Art and Coach House Studios in Bristol, with additional mixing at Moles Studio in Bath.

Dummy is Portishead's debut album, released by Go! Beat in August 1994. "Sour Times" is built on a sample of Lalo Schifrin's "The Danube Incident."

The album won the 1995 Mercury Music Prize and is often credited with popularizing trip hop. It was certified triple platinum in the UK in February 2019, and by 2008 it had sold 3.6 million copies worldwide.
